Managing Your Account Details and Licenses

With a Subscription and a Company License, you have additional control over how you can manage your Technician Role staff as well as any Staff Licenses. The tables below explain how a Company License compares with a Technician License from the perspective of the Resource and Account Options. In addition, you can see that a Company License provides the means to separate the access provided by the Manager Role vs the Technician Role.

Additional Company License Based Benefits

Additional unique benefits for a Subscription based upon a Company License are designed specifically for the needs of a Company with one or more technicians and the need to delegate who has the use of the Technical Roles and resources available.

  • Reassign a Technician Role (Delegate use of the license)

When you establish a Company License, you are prompted to establish both an Owner Account to manage your license as well as a Technician Role account to assign to a staff member who will do the work. Purchased as a Technician Kit alone, the Technician Role cannot be reassigned because with only a 90 day support window, it's not likely that you would need to change staff that quickly. However, once you establish a subscription, you may now manage the reassignment of your license as needed.

  • Multiple Technicians allowed via Staff Licenses

A Staff License is a very cost effective way to establish more than one technician at your company with the option to work independently with the website, resources and materials just like the access your subscription based license provides. In fact, other than the substantially lower cost of a Staff License ($120 USD/yr.), your additional technical staff have the exact same resources and benefits delivered. You save not only the initial $200 cost of an additional Kit Owner License, the Staff License renews annually at 40% below the cost of the main subscription account renewal.

Comparing the normal conditions with either a Technician Kit Active or Subscription Active you can identify the additional management benefits of a Subscription. The Expired Account column indicates what reduced functionality remains available to access even if your account has an expired status.
